This small hardcover gamebook is based on the Masters of the Universe cartoon and action figures. It features an extremely simplistic game system; the reader has only one attribute (Life Points), and a six-sided die is used to generate random numbers from time to time. The combat system is entirely random but more interesting than one might expect; whenever He-Man gets into a fight, a table is presented. The reader rolls the die, and either the battle is won, Life Points are lost, or the next roll is modified in some way. Victory is not difficult to achieve, but there is considerable replay value thanks to multiple successful endings. Although several storybooks were released using this volume's format, it is the only interactive offering published.
