User Summary: | You are the Batman. While patrolling Gotham City you discover a burglary taking place in a warehouse, and decide to investigate. |
Fireguard's Thoughts: |
Welcome to Gotham City is a decent introduction to the rules of the DC Heroes game. It captures some of the feel of Batman's adventures, and without involving a battle against an iconic foe like the Joker. It's still just a quick tutorial of the game's rules in action, though, and not really worth repeated play-throughs. |
Guillermo's Thoughts: |
Like many introductory adventures included with RPG rulesets, this one is extremely short and pretty insubstantial. Combat and skill checks are very lopsided in favour of the player, meaning that as a game this is fairly uninteresting. It can be a decent tutorial if you are trying to learn the (quite complex) Mayfair Exponential Game System, though. |
Special Thanks: | Thanks to Guillermo Paredes for the plot summary. |
