This six-book Choose Your Own Adventure spinoff was released in 1992. In the series, the reader is part of a trio of young reporters who travel the world in search of interesting stories. The books attempt to be educational and are successful in this to an extent, but they can't match the Time Machine series.

Plot Summary: While covering the Tour De France, a French bike race, you begin to think there is a conspiracy to prevent one of the contestants from winning.
My Thoughts: This book isn't flawless, but it's quite good. The continuity is excellent, making all of the choices meaningful to the plot in some way. The actual plot gets kind of silly at a few points, but this is still an above-average gamebook.

 2. Forgotten Days

Plot Summary: A British woman approaches you and asks you to search for some letters hidden in India by one of her ancestors around the time of the Kanpur Massacre.
My Thoughts: Like the previous book this is well-constructed and has good continuity. Unfortunately, it doesn't manage to be nearly as exciting as its subject matter suggests it could be.

 3. On Tour

Plot Summary: While covering a rock star's tour you discover that her life is in danger.
My Thoughts: This seems to be the weakest book in the series. While it tries to be as internally consistent as the previous two, it's not very successful and its plot has been done before far too many times.

 4. Path of the Crusaders

Plot Summary: Your team goes along with a group of reenactors following a path originally taken during the Crusades, but you quickly get sidetracked...
My Thoughts: The plot of this book wanders all over the place and internal consistency is dropped somewhere along the way. It's not a very satisfying read, but at least it has some variety in it.

 5. Mystery of the Trans-Siberian Express

My Thoughts: This book is a bit confusing at times, but it's still quite entertaining. The setting is interesting and the choices come at a fairly satisfying rate.

 6. Manhunt

Plot Summary: While covering the Cannes Film Festival, you see a short movie inviting its audience to search for its creator in order to win five million dollars.
My Thoughts: This is a good conclusion to the series. It's not very consistent in terms of plot, but it's a fun adventure.
