Dtar's Thoughts: I found the science in the book to be pretty good, with some tough choices to make in a fight against the pull of gravity and a lack of resources. Speaking of resources, the concept of colonizing other planets because of population pressure on Earth is a good one for the young reader and I imagine that the characters might work for someone of the target audience (perhaps 8-12).
