Demian's Thoughts: |
This book is quite fun to read; like the other Conan books in this series it's somewhat different from the more standard D&D stuff in the way the story unfolds, especially in the introductory section, and this difference makes it fairly interesting. This book also has both a clear objective to aim for and a variety of paths to follow, making for entertaining gameplay. |
Kveto's Thoughts: |
The final and best of the Conan Endless Quest books. This one starts mid-storyline with you escaping slavery of a beautiful witch. In addition to giving you a villain to run from, it has a number of different paths to take and multiple characters to interact with. It even pulls in Rann the Valkyrie, who I think appeared in some pastiches and comics. Overall, the story is much more mature that the average Endless Quest fare (but no sex scenes). The stories would actually fit right in with Roy Thomas's version of Conan from the comics. |
