Kveto's Thoughts: |
This is the only entry in the BSOLO series. It is an adventure for a solo character, levels 1-3. The pre-generated characters are magic-users and elves of 2nd and 3rd level. It involves the character exploring the Lion Castle, as it is said you are the heir to the castle. The castle itself resembles a giant lion, which made me think of the old MGM hotel in Las Vegas. Like other solo modules, the short sections provide for a poor gaming experience and lots of paths doubling back on themselves. In one case it asks if you want to climb the north wall or the south wall and both choices indicate you should turn to the same section, which just feels lazy. |
