Obviously, I'm a gamebook geek... but I'm also a Doctor Who geek. Thus, a survey of my favorite TV series by one of my favorite gamebook authors is a spectacular nerdy delight. The full-color photos throughout don't hurt. I read the whole thing in a single sitting, and I regret nothing! Obviously, this is not for everyone, and I don't agree with all of Newman's opinions, but much of it is right on, and if you share my particular inclinations, it's worth tracking down. |
