Demian's Thoughts: |
After the previous awful novel... it just gets worse! One of the most tedious and unengaging books in the series thus far, this was a chore to get through. It's bad enough when disappointing books build on ideas from the classic series, but plundering the past might just be preferable to making up something as ill-conceived (not to mention ill-named) as this adventure's time-meddling Garvond, the latest threat to suddenly materialize from Gallifreyan legend. You can safely skip this one -- you'll most likely have forgotten all the details within a week of reading it anyway. |
