Guillermo's Thoughts:

This book is only marginally better than Alice's Wonderland Adventure. A lot of the choices are completely arbitrary, and the characters are quite undeveloped compared to the Disney film. The book's main saving grace is that there is a pathway that sticks relatively faithfully to the plot of the movie, therefore giving it some of the feel of an epic quest. Overall, this works as a light introduction to gamebooks for a young child, but is unlikely to engage other audiences.

noonxnoon's Thoughts:

I bought this book along with Mickey's Christmas Carol Adventure for my three year old son.

I am impressed with the quality of this book as well as the general Disney Choose Your Own Adventure series.

I never knew they made a special Disney line of Choose Your Own Adventure books, but am glad to learn about them from this site.

The storyline is good, imaginative and easily understood, as are the artwork and overall look and feel in this larger formatted book.

I enjoyed reading this book to my son and asking him what choice should the boy in the story make when the character in the story sees Pinocchio being manipulated and taken advantage of by others... as well as what happens when Pinocchio tells a lie.

Generally moral high-ground is the path to success, but it is good for young people to have enjoyable endings... but some paths can be too brief!

I recommend this book as well as other Disney Choose Your Own Adventure series to parents with young readers who want to share the fun of gamebooks.

The next book and probably the last one I'll buy from the Disney Choose Your Own Adventure series would be Jungle Book Adventure.
