You and the other Space Hawks must find a way to stop the Cephids, enormous insect-like creatures, before they can consume the Earth.
Fireguard's Thoughts:
This book is little different from the first quality-wise. It does a little to show the stakes increasing from the previous installment, which will be the trend up until the end of the series. It also introduces Dr. Bruno Vivaldi, an obvious relative of Nera and an indicator that Space Hawks has a place in the realm of Edward Packard's other books. Despite what I said at the beginning, don't quit on Space Hawks just yet. The good stuff's almost here.
