Guillermo's Thoughts: |
(Review based on the Deluxe Tunnels & Trolls Adventurers Compendium version.) This adventure is less creatively designed than earlier Sorcerer's Apprentice solos, and the various endings feel even more abrupt than is usual for the series. Note: another T&T module using the same title (written by Ken St. Andre instead of Michael Stackpole) was published on its own many years after the first appearance of this solo in Sorcerer's Apprentice. Unlike the adventure reviewed here, the later one requires a referee and a group of players, and it also has a completely different plot and story. |
