This pair of gamebooks, also released in a single-volume omnibus, cast the reader as Havet Storm, a fugitive Jedi fleeing bounty hunter Boba Fett. The two books have connected plots, and it is possible to carry a character from one to the other. Characters have six attributes (Strength, Speed, Blaster, Lightsabre and Tech Skills); at the start of play, the reader is given twenty points to distribute among these attributes, and some of these may be saved and used as "Jedi Power Points," which allow special actions to be made during play. Combat involves combining dice rolls with attributes, though Jedi Power Points can be used to help out. Equipment is handled in an interesting fashion – all inventory items come with a paragraph number, and at the end of each adventure, there is a "Data Bank" of special sections that contain item descriptions which may be consulted at any time. The Data Bank also includes other kinds of information, and it is sometimes necessary to check off Data Bank paragraph numbers on the character sheet for future reference. The character sheet also features a "Time Track" which is used at one point during the mission. Strangely, despite the American origin and enormous popularity of Star Wars, these books were never printed in the United States.
