The Groom of the TombUser Comments
None other than Mr. Demian Katz himself took on the task of writing an adventure of his own, adapting the zany Mittie Frances Clarke Pointe / Alex McVeigh Miller's "forgotten classic" paperback novel The Bride of the Tomb (1883). While I haven't ever seen a copy in secondhand bookstores and it doesn't appear that the book was given a particularly broad release, I wouldn't be surprised to see how well Demian - the man of the site himself - handles the tough balancing act of writing interactive fiction. I'd be excited to give this a go if I can ever come across a copy - though I must say from what I've come to understand about this little book, it appears that familiarity with the original novel upon which this adventure is based might be imperative to fully understanding, appreciating and experiencing the prepared companion piece. I tell you, ladies and gentlemen, that there's something truly exciting about the potential of the format that hasn't ever really been explored; you never know what you might come across that could lend itself fittingly to the format, as appears to likely be the case with this little book.
