Demian's Thoughts: |
In a way, this tale of science run amok seems like a spiritual sequel to the author's earlier The Green Slime. Unfortunately, it's not as successful. The twists of the story are bizarre without being especially amusing or interesting, and as with the author's previous book (Blizzard at Black Swan Inn), none of the endings are particularly satisfying. At the very least, this could have served as an amusing tribute to Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, but as it is, this adventure can be safely skipped. |
