This spin-off of the Choose Your Own Adventure line is aimed at a surprisingly young audience: toddlers. Each thin paperback book consists of a series of two-page spreads printed in full color. Many also feature, in the center of each of these spreads, a half-sized page which, when flipped from the right side to the left side, causes a change in the picture and reveals additional text. Each story deals with anthropomorphic animals in situations children might encounter, and each plot contains just one choice for the child to make. The books were first published in the UK by Transworld before being picked up by Bantam.

User Comments

This series has great, classic children's storybook art and makes nice use of the partial pages to flip and show before and after, cause and effect or something similar. While these books should appeal to first readers, they are only made of regular paper that could easily be torn.
