This role-playing game includes a solitaire adventure in the rulebook. The adventure is divided into episodes, each intended to teach the reader a specific part of the game mechanics. The episodes are spread through the book, with each episode being included at the end of the chapter describing the mechanic it is intended to illustrate. In turn, each episode is divided into a small number of sections in standard branching-path adventure fashion. Only the first few episodes of the adventure can be played by a single person without a referee; later episodes, while still using a branching-path narrative, require a player and a referee for play.

In addition to the introductory adventure, this game spawned two standalone solitaire adventures.

User Comments

The Adventures of Indiana Jones role playing game was a good system, unfortunately limited by the subject matter. As there was no opportunity (or motivation) to create new characters, you were stuck with players arguing over who would play Indy and who had to play a sidekick. (This was not really a problem for me as I could only find one other friend willing to play).

It mustn't have been successful as TSR let the license slip after a few years. It only produced 6 adventure modules, the first two of which were modules based on the first two films, Raiders and Temple of Doom. I can't really see any motivation to playing a module of a film everyone will have already seen.
