|User Summary:||You must undertake a mission for the United States Special Forces. You may choose to do it as a Green Beret, as an Army Ranger, or as a Navy SEAL.|
This is the first book in the You Choose line that I have had the chance to read. The first thing I noticed is its high visual quality: the book is entirely illustrated with full-colour photographs. I also liked the writing style quite a bit; even though this is meant to be an educational book, the story stays centered on the action, without bogging down the text with too many technical details. The appendices contain additional information on the U. S. Special Forces for those who want to learn more.
The book consists of three separate adventures, meaning that when you complete one of them you can go back to the beginning and choose another one. All the adventures are rather short (obviously) but each of them requires a good deal of strategy and planning to be completed successfully. Overall, I found this to be an enjoyable (if quick) read and will be on the lookout for more titles in this series.
