As a fan of both the boardgame Clue and the 1985 film of the same name, I was very pleased to pick this book up, and a bit surprised to see that it was part of a series. This is not a traditional gamebook with branching options, but a group of separate short mysteries, or logic puzzles for the reader to solve. All of our beloved colorfully-named scoundrels are present. The tone is very much written for a younger audience, with mostly non-violent scenarios. It is still a fun and quick read for fans of this classic game. 3 out of 5 stars. |
