Guillermo's Thoughts:

First of all, a word about the interior illustrations. The book is illustrated in full colour. Several of the illustrations are reproductions of centuries-old artwork which depicts ninja, while others are the work of contemporary illustrators (including a couple used with the authorization of Osprey Publishing). There are also some full-colour photographs of ninja artifacts. The end result is a gorgeous book.

As a reading experience, the book is quite good, with entertaining writing and strategic gameplay. It captures quite well the feel of the period and does a good job of putting the reader in the shoes of actual ninja. My main complaint against the book is that all three adventures included feel far too short; each of them could have easily been developed into a longer and more complex adventure. Test of the Ninja this is definitely not. However, if you take the book for what it is (a collection of short interactive adventures), you should have a good time with it.
