Guillermo's Thoughts: |
After the game mechanics of the previous volume in the series, this one goes back to the standard pick-a-path format (no mechanics at all, only choices). Overall, this book is weaker than the author's previous entry (Soy invisible). While I'm no physics expert, I'm quite sure several of the scientific concepts the author uses are inaccurately presented here. Moreover, the science fiction explanations for what happens in the story are patently absurd. These flaws would be forgiven if the storylines were involving, but I was very bored pretty much the entire time. This is definitely not Hyperspace by Edward Packard, and you can safely skip it. |
