Guillermo's Thoughts:

After introducing a game system in the previous book, the series returns to having no rules system, only choices. While the plot of this book borrows elements from Mark Twain's A Yankee in the King Arthur's Court, King Arthur and Merlin only play a minimal role in this story. Instead of adapting a Mark Twain novel into an interactive medium (as was the case in the awesome Aventuras en el Mississippi), the author of this book chose to fill it with a series of original fantasy storylines. The ideas, while good, are never developed to their full potential, and the paths through the book are only marginally more interesting and coherent than the atrocious Un caballero de la mesa redonda (which shares a similar plot). This book is definitely not worth wasting your time on, especially if you have not read The Forbidden Castle in the CYOA series, which does this sort of thing much better.
