Guillermo's Thoughts: |
Amazing book. The author does a great job of vividly portraying all the major Tom Sawyer characters (including Huck Finn, Becky, Aunt Polly, and Injun Joe). Some of the paths follow the events from the The Adventures of Tom Sawyer novel quite closely, while some others deviate from the original story quite a bit. Even though the book is aimed at children, there are quite a few gruesome death endings. In this story, Injun Joe makes a ruthless, truly fearsome villain. As if the above weren't enough, the book includes a challenging and dangerous dungeon crawl. Great stuff! |
