This horror gamebook tells a good story, but is not very difficult to complete successfully. Other horror entries in this series (most notably The Hands of Pablo Santos) have much better gameplay than this book, while also managing to convey a good horror atmosphere. The Dark Awakening is certainly readable, but it is not among the best Storytrails books. |
