(review based on the Spanish translation) Despite being based on the Holmes mythos, the only recognizable characters that appear in this book are Mrs. Hudson, Mycroft Holmes and the Baker Street Irregulars. This presents a sharp contrast, to name one example, to the American Sherlock Holmes Solo Mysteries series, where Sherlock and Dr. Watson are active characters. The book itself, nonetheless, is very well written, and reaching the successful ending is much harder than usual in this series. This is one of the most interesting Storytrails books I've read so far and I wholeheartedly recommend it. |
