Kveto's Thoughts:

This is a solo adventure based upon GURPS, a universal role-playing system. It is a relatively easy system if you are familiar with other gamebook systems.

The adventure itself is short and based on a novel by L Sprague deCamp, who wrote stories based upon Robert E Howard's Conan. It follow the plot of the novel closely, meaning you won't get much surprise if you are familiar with it. The plot involves hunting in ice caves, fighting an ice worm and finding a girl to save and shag.

The sections are short, filled with mostly skill checks, nothing insightful or original. You are not obligated to be Conan. It offers you a viking-like character named Hiemdall or you can create your own character. Most of the sections are only a few sentences with little dialogue or character interaction.

That's about it.
