Like the last Bond book, this one is kinda based on View to a Kill, with its basic plot and characters and some scenes lifted from the film. It's a little better than Win, Place or Die, but that's not saying much. Interestingly, seeing the movie might give you meta-knowledge which could get you to make the wrong choice. The silliest scene is Bond using a Q branch handkerchief which becomes a parachute to jump off the Eiffel Tower. I mean, we are getting into Pierce Brosnan invisible car silliness here. |
