Guillermo's Thoughts:

This sci-fi gamebook shows some of the worst features of self-publishing: it is very badly written, and several of the characters in the story act in ways that painfully strain credibility*. In addition to the above, the book isn't very well executed. There is some sense of mystery at the beginning (which quickly evaporates after the first few reads), but the choices and their respective outcomes become extremely obvious as you delve deeper into the book. Speaking of depth, all the paths throughout the book feel way too short. The basic idea had much more potential than the author was able or willing to develop. I wouldn't waste time with this book if I were you.

* Yes, I'm aware that this book had an editor. It just wasn't a very competent one, I'm afraid.
