Claws of the Macra was a nice adventure, as it did genuinely feel like being drawn into a Matt Smith era Doctor Who adventure with decisions which seemed risky, in a setting that felt realistic.

The Coldest War however featured decisions about things clearly outside of your character's control, such as the environment and the actions of the Doctor and his other companions, so was less good.
