Item - Can You Survive in the Wilderness?

Three adventures of wilderness survival: Alaska, the Blue mountains of Australia, and the Cascade mountain range of the west coast of North America. In one of the stories you have a badly injured companion, in the others you are alone. In one of the adventures you have no choice but to travel in search of help, in the other two it is an option.

The survival stories do a good job of educating, in keeping with other books by this publisher. Sometimes there are simple diagrams of traps and snares, other times there is text reinforcing when a reader makes a good decision. There is also a chapter in the back with more formal instruction, a quiz, and stories of real life survival.
