Demian's Thoughts: |
This is a treat: an amusing, self-referential story that could only exist as a novel, built on a solid foundation of classic series continuity. It's not as mindbendingly clever as the work of Kim Newman, but it's developed along similar lines. Also noteworthy is the fact that the dedications include a tribute to Steven Moffat, who years later would come along and write some of the best episodes of the revived television series. |
