Demian's Thoughts: |
Presumably the result of a competition, this book was written by a pair of eleven-year-olds. It's not hard to see why it was published -- there are several imaginative and humorous moments that are quite impressive considering the age of the authors. Unfortunately, though, these highlights are buried within an aimless narrative that's a little too strange and disjointed for its own good. This is an admirable accomplishment for its pair of young writers, but that doesn't quite make it a readable book in its own right. |
