User Summary: | While on vacation in Arizona, you notice a mysterious light at the top of a nearby mountain.... |
Demian's Thoughts: |
This was released not too long after a different "ghostly encounters on vacation" story (Haunted Harbor), so you would kind of expect it to be something special in order to justify its somewhat redundant existence. Unfortunately, though, it's a rather bland ghost story which, in spite of good internal consistency, never really offers any surprises. Despite having quite lengthy text passages for the series (sometimes several pages between choices), very little is revealed about the ghost's history, and most paths feel fairly similar: a trek up the mountain featuring encounters with the ghost and your know-it-all cousin Larry. Definitely not required reading. |
