Demian's Thoughts: |
While this book is by no means groundbreaking, it is competently constructed and fairly entertaining. |
Guillermo's Thoughts: |
This book, in which you must stop an impending robbery, is seriously flawed. The author made an effort to make the gameplay strategic, but the end result feels bland and uninspired compared to Who Killed Harlowe Thrombey? in the CYOA series. Different read-throughs reveal different aspects of the plot, but the latter is so thin that the book does not really warrant reading over and over. It's also possible to get drawn into a different mystery than the one you originally set out to solve, but this doesn't make the book any more engaging. Overall, this book is not really worth rescuing from obscurity. |
