| Demian's Thoughts: |
Although it has a lot of typographical errors in it, this is a pretty good gamebook. The reader gets to visit a number of different times and it can be read several times without becoming boring. Still, it doesn't hold a candle to the Time Machine series. |
| Waluigi Freak 99's Thoughts: |
Master of the Past is outdated in some respects, but that doesn't stop it from being a good gamebook. The sarcastic form of humor works well, and the adventures were neat. The choices often required the use of good sense in stead of blindly making a decision and letting things happen to you. |
