Cover Text: | Kharis is the guardian of the ruins of Tor menchi, where in life his treachery brought destruction. Now in everlasting penitence, he rots away guarding the very treasure he betrayed. Beward, for this fiend of life is a noble adversary. Some say to avoid this place called Tor menchi; go elsewhere, into the light of day. But if the prize is more precious than life, then a king's ransom waits, glittering amidst these fallen towers. Dare you to think? Dare you to plot? |

soren_nyrond's Thoughts: |
It's undead and it's carrying a mace (my bonus cards included the unbreakable Feredon's Biffer, which gets round the "Weapon Broken" on p. 55). So its swings are good, but thrusts and fakes (too slow, I guess) aren't to write home about. Nor has it any sort of blocking move, being pretty well concentrated on offense. It also does hand-to-hand -- headbutts that also hurt it, a knee slam, and slaps, punches and grabs that add poison to other damage, at so many points per turn. He also takes slightly more damage than the average fighter, probably on account of already being dead. |
