Great to see this series is still alive. This book left me wanting more which is always a good sign of an engaging CYOA book. Unlike the odd weirdness of the Mata Hari book in the Spies series, this book mostly remains grounded in reality (mostly; do expect some oddities with small animals being integral to war as well as one strange bodily transformation). This makes for a refreshing change as often these books take suspension of disbelief to a new level. It's good to see this series is still alive, and this book is a fresh new addition to my collection. The writing is splendid, and the story is fun and engaging. I hope to see more from Kyandreia Jones. |
