This edition introduced several significant changes. The victory condition was reduced from finding all 6 portraits to only finding 4, to eliminate the "one true path" element from the plot. The series logo was updated and made more professional-looking. The antagonist's name and position were changed to clarify his role in the backstory and to fix series setting inconsistencies.
