This book-game, based on the Flash Gordon comic strip, is a solitaire adventure with its own rules system, requiring the use of a map and counters (included with the book). Similar to later RPG modules such as Rage of the Rakasta or Knight of Newts, the interactivity is limited to moving around the map, turning to the appropriate location in the book, and resolving the encounters in each location. It is designed to be played by a group of people (though it can be played solo without much difficulty), and it nominally requires a referee (though, again, it is entirely possible to play without one).
