Demian's Thoughts:

While the full-color mini-hardback format is rather appealing, the content of this book prevents it from providing much entertainment. The setup seems promising -- the book begins with a map of Iceland and an equipment list, and the first section of text provides at least a bit of detail. However, once the reader dives into the adventure, it seems that very little thought was put into the design and writing -- I wouldn't be surprised if this was written in a single afternoon. Everything is too brief to deliver any sense of atmosphere, most choices involve avoiding arbitrary deaths, and the Icelandic setting and user equipment list are used only minimally. The most memorable thing here is death by dragon dung (accompanied by an illustration, no less), and I don't think that's really something most people would care to remember. You can skip this one without remorse.
