This book's about average for the series. There's nothing particularly special about it, and the solution to the title mystery is incredibly obvious by any standards (even, I'd say, those of the book's rather young target age group). For me, though, all flaws are redeemed by the extremely amusing illustration on page 37; there's just something special about a bear falling off a cliff.... |
