This book isn't badly written, but the choices are disappointing. Most of them are based on morality. Will you lie to get what you want? Succumb to peer pressure to avoid looking like a wimp? Ignore your coach's instructions and speed through the course? "Borrow" someone else's snowboard when yours goes missing? Because this was written for children, doing the right thing generally results in favorable (but boring) endings, while doing the wrong thing leads to short-term excitement but an eventual comeuppance. |
