Might as well finish out the collectors' sets. This final batch might be the best of the bunch, up there with the first set. You've got four decent fantasy adventures, with no clunkers, all written by different authors. The box art has Larry Elmore's very awesome Dragon of Doom cover. This was the last of the packaged sets and interestingly, the final books to carry the stylized framed cover artwork, each with a different gemstone. By book #17, they go to much more generic style full cover paintings. |
