User Summary: | Created by Steve Jackson (UK), this beautifully-designed game captures the concept and encounters of its source material very well, but randomisation is generated by distributing Encounter and Treasure cards about the dungeon meaning that, in theory, no two playing dungeons can be the same and, crucially, making every playthrough unique. Adventure Sheets, dice, and six plastic miniatures are included. Several ideas not lifted from the book are also included to avoid this being a slavish copy of the original. A feature called Key Challenges allows players to attempt to establish what the correct three-number combination opens the Warlock's treasure chest at the end of the game (similar to Cluedo.) |
